| Privacy Policy |
|
| |
| The Trust of our clients is the foundation of our business. Protecting your privacy and safeguarding financial, personnel, and trade information is one of our highest priorities. |
| |
| Client Identity - Nondisclosure |
| |
| As a systems security provider to clients that are subject to federal privacy and security regulations, we will not disclose client identities to other clients, prospective clients or any other parties except for tax reporting requirements and to the extent necessary for the performance of our work on behalf of a client. |
| |
| What information do we collect ? |
| |
| | In the course of providing services we collect the technical and security configuration of your network components. This is performed as an explicit auditing or documentation service performed at your request or as a byproduct of troubleshooting and monitoring your network systems. Collecting configuration information is integral to developing a knowledge-base of your systems in order to provide safe and efficient services. |
| |
| The collection of information concerning your organization's personnel is strictly limited to network authentication accounts, or the documentation of personnel names in association with physical or other organizational entities related to the operation and use of your network assets. |
| |
| What do we do with information that we collect ? |
| |
| The technical and security information that we may collect is used only for the computer systems support benefit of the client from which it was collected. It is not distributed to anyone for any purpose. |
| |
| Internally, client information is protected through industry-standard security mechanisms and policies that limit access to our customer's information on a need-to-know basis. |
| |
| Information we do not collect |
| |
| We do not collect or view any information that is known to be confidential or proprietary such as financial, personnel, or trade information. If confidential or proprietary information is inherently involved in maintaining or servicing a network system, it will not be removed from your site by physical or electronic transport. We treat the privacy of this information as absolute. |

| Security Statement |
|
| SBCertified is committed to providing its clients with the highest levels of security in the technical services industry. Protecting your information and assets is one of our top priorities. |
| |
| Network Security is a major component of the technical services that we perform for our clients. We apply the same best-practices in the design and operation of our internal systems to protect customer information that we may have in our possession. |

| SBCertified's Network Management Site |
|
SLL and a Self-Issued Server Certificate |
|
| | "Secure Sockets Layer" (SSL) is the leading standard for securing Web transmissions. For example it is used by all banks, brokerages and on-line merchants for securing communications with their online customers. |
| |
| | Because our Network Management Site is only used by our limited population of registered customers we use a "Self-Issued" certificate to authenticate the site and provide the private and public keys needed for the SSL protocol. Our web site has a page that will install the Root Certificate issued by SBCertified in your browser's certificate store to enable secure communication with our Network Management Site. Given that you have accepted the role of being a customer of SBCertified, the identification and encryption benefits provided by a Self-Issued certificate is equal to the benefits of a certificate issued by a public certificate authority such as Verisign. |

The information in the cookie is temporarily stored in memory and available to SBCertified only while you're logged on to our Web site. Once you log off or close down your browser, the information is removed from your computer.

If your browser provides an edit message asking you to accept or reject the use of cookies while using the SBCertified Network Management Web site, you should accept. Access to your Network Documentation will not be available without cookies enable. |
